Found an interesting site if you are looking to get nice looking banners and logos. It is available for free as well! All you need to do is to choose a particular style you like, fill in some information like colours and text and you are done!

Looks like even for small sites with just a small number of pages can also be given the “authority sites” status as well. Check out Arts Movement Directory. Google’s index has only 46 pages of that site! Makes me think that this status is independent of Search Results? It is possible? Again, it just makes me more confused.
Hi, it’s me again.
I have found another low Page Rank site with “authority site” status.
It’s The Joke File. However, I am beginning to have my suspicion on this status. Looks like it has a lot to do with the domain name and the search term. Let’s say you are looking for info on soccer so you searched for the term “soccer”. Would you click on a site with the domain name “www.jsonline.com” or “www.soccer.com”? I am pretty sure you will click on “www.soccer.com”. However, www.soccer.com leads to a site which sells soccer accessories. Not what you wanted right? And that site is given “authority site” status! Although my example is that really an all out convincing example, but it shows that domain name really helps. But I need to do more “research” first before confirming on this.
