Zenya Green Tea With Pomegranate
972 days agoI love green tea. Every day I would drink about 2-3 cups of green tea and I find it extremely refreshing. I am not very sure how do you describe it, but I like the taste of green tea – kind of like a cleanser of sorts. You feel very refreshed after drinking just one cup. Unlike most other drinks which would usually leave a sticky aftertaste, I never felt anything like this with green tea. That is why it is my choice of drink in the morning. Too bad, a lot of Singaporeans start their day with a cup of coffee instead of tea. Most Singaporeans need a caffeine kick early in the morning or they cannot function throughout the day. As I mentioned, too bad. In many ways, drinking tea is much much better than drinking coffee. Just imagine the amounts of antioxidants in that cup of green tea. Remember, antioxidants help fight off free radicals in your body. And yes, green tea do have some caffeine but not in the amounts of what coffee have.
Anyway, a few weeks ago, I came across this Zenya Green Tea with Pomegranate. Well, it looks interesting, being green tea and with Pomegranate. Both of them are high in antioxidants and I can imagine the punch it provides to our body if consumed. So I bought 2 bottles of this Zenya drink.
Yes, it is red in colour! The drink itself is also red in colour by the way. Kind of shocking!

Why the need to add flavouring as this is supposed to be naturally brewed?

The top of the Zenya bottle. Open this and you can drink the red coloured Zenya Green Tea with Pomegranate. I actually like this drink. I would prefer it not to be that sweet (this is a tea), but overall the flavour is quite nice. Yes, you do get a little Pomegranate flavour, but it is not overwhelming.

Most people understand that Green Tea, and green tea supplements are good for us – but ask anyone why it is good for us, and they probably won’t have an answer. Indeed, it has long been general knowledge that green tea provides support to the human body – and this is backed up scientifically.

tasted all 3, found the original a bit weird, it has this odd aftertaste, wasnt really to my liking, The lemon was ok, but this one is the best imo.

I got hooked on this tea while in Thailand. I love it! Where in the States can I find it? Not in any of the Asian store in my area.
I used to bee hooked on the stuff! I know they sell it at Banh Kanom Thai in Hollywood, CA. I think its the only place in the US that carries it for some reason.
