Welch’s 100% Grape Juice In A Can

Ya, I know, I have reviewed the Welch’s 100% Grape Juice before. And yes, it taste exactly the same as this can. But I guess this garners another look because it is just so different from the original bottled Welch’s. And yes, drinking grape juice is good for you. Not as good as eating grapes themselves, but sometimes we have to sacrifice something for convenience right? You will be surprised to see that a lot of nutrients and vitamins are in fact in the skin and the pulp of the grapes. But anyway, drinking filtered grape juice still have some of it’s benefits intact, so I would highly recommend everyone to drink grape juice. Of course, if you have the time, it would be better to eat grapes.

I am guessing that they designed this can specifically for the ladies. Most importantly, it is small and convenient to carry around in their handbag. Something which the ladies would appreciate. For me, I would rather have the big bottles and drink as much as I want per go. That small can is just not enough.

Made from Concentrate with Vitamin C. I think what they are saying is that the drink is made from concentrate and there is vitamin C added. Most likely the process of making it into concentrate in the first place destroyed most of the vitamins present and they have to add some Vitamin C back to the drink. Sad, if you think about it.

Grape Polyphenol antioxidants! Good for fighting off those free radicals harming your body. We should consume more antioxidants to prevent cancer.

Alright! High in Vitamin C and no sugar added. I like! Oh, as I mentioned before, this can is small – it contains only 163ml of grape juice. Hardly enough to quech my thirst.

Cool, the ingredients are Grape Juice from concentrate(filtered water mixed with Grape Juice concentrate), grape juice, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).That’s it! Yes, generally a short ingredient lists means that the product is better than those with long ingredients list, as those comes with a lot of other processed stuff. Bad! Be glad that Welch’s 100% Grape Juice has no artificial flavour or colour.

The nutrition table for this can of Welch’s 100% Grape Juice. Nothing important here.

Nice, made in the USA! Nowadays most of the stuff we see on the supermarkets are made in either China, Australia, Malaysia or somewhere, seldom do you see those made in the USA.  Most likely if you do, it would cost a bomb.
