Hi, very helpful site, better than the actual easiyo site. But I have a different brand yoghurt maker, and want to use the easiyo sachets, i want to know the actual measurment quantity of water that goes into the powder. In these great pictures I cannot see the measuremnts on the side of the jug?

I hope you can help.

Don't fiddle with it. Let it stand for a few more hours then. If you fiddle with it, the yogurt might not set.I doubt using honey water will have an adverse effect but may I know the reason why you are using honey water? The regular versions are quite sweet already.

It works with strawberry flavour but not Mango. Any reason ?

I have several batches that have been fermented for 24 hours and they turned out to be thicker, creamier but of course more tart. My mango flavoured yogurt was a little sour, lol.. thanks..

Ya, it could be due to competing bacteria. That's why I always sanitize my equipment. You can't really sterilize the jar because it is plastic but putting in boiling water for a short while should be okay since Easiyo's method also requires it to be placed in boiling water.,

Update: I didn't sterilise the jar, just rinsed it out in really hot water and was careful about not touching the inside, or the mix. (I used to stir it in with a spoon; this time I just shook the jar.) Left it working for 12 hours, and the result was the very best batch of yoghurt yet - well set, creamy, tangy.

Thank you very, VERY much for this guide!!

I would suggest leaving it longer. I have several batches that have been fermented for 24 hours and they turned out to be thicker, creamier but of course more tart. My mango flavoured yogurt was a little sour, lol. Sometimes it could just be the weather.

Can you acquire iodine? If so, add about 2 drops of iodine and 200ml of water into your yogurt container. Cover, shake it and let it rest for 2 minutes and you are sanitized! Rinse it with a little water and you are good to go.

Thanks very much for that! My first batches of Easiyo were great, but lately it's been runnier and less tart (I like it tart) - I think I may need to sterilise the jar, and maybe leave it to work a bit longer (I've been leaving it six to eight hours).
