There is lots of helpful info on the internet to draw from when trying to figure something out, but sometimes you still have to do some guessing to fill in the blanks.

Wow thats the simplest i’ve seen. Though my dbconnet.php failed to change the permission several times, it still installed. Is it a cause to worry? Thanks

Thanks very much, was a great step by step tutorial!! Hope it’s okay to ask another question?! Perhaps a basic one but I cant find an answer. I installed pligg 1.1.4 and created a new category (right side menu button) using admin, gave it a name e.g. “Food” and it goes to a page on the pligg site, fine. But I have another website which is named in a sub-directory folder to the main site folder, e.g http://www.pligg.com/food and I want to make this “Food” category button in http://www.pligg.com, link a link to that website. How to do or where to go? Please help.
