Hi,
Im having a problem installing vanilla on my website.
well.actually i installed it properly yesterday and it was working fine, except for the fact that I could not log out once i logged in.
so today i decided to re-install the whole of the script but its not working.
can you give me an idea what the problem could be?
and how can i reconcile it?

Not too sure what you mean. Which is the subdirectory you installed the vanilla files to? There is definitely no html file since this is php based.

Hi, I'm stuck at this point:

"The next step is to use your browser and browse to the URL you have setup your forum to be. For example, if your domain name is “google.com” then you will need to brose to “google.com”. If you have set it up on a subdirectory, let’s say “forums/vanilla”, then you will need to browse to “google.com/forums/vanilla”."

I haven't set up my forum to be anything yet, and there's no .html page for me to navigate to. I've tried navigating to my home page and I just get the home page. I've also tried navigating to the index.php and installer.php but I just get a blank page.

Could be due to several reasons - most likely it is caused by .htaccess configuration. Try backup the .htaccess file and then remove it and see whether that works for you. If not, then upload the .htaccess file.
