next time you brew a coopers kit read the instructions, there is no need to boil the wort, coopers have alredy done that for you.In fact any homebrew kit that comes in cans are in fact boiled wort, all you need to do is put the unopened can in hot water for 15 mins to loosen the wort making it easier to pour into the fermentor, add the contents of the can and sugar to the fernentor with 2 litres of boiling watr mix real well to disolve the sugars, top up to 20 litres with cold water, check tempreture of the wort and top up to 23 litres with hot/cold to acheive an ideal temp of 21/27c pitch the yeast, screw on the fermenter lid,put some water in the air lock, then leave for a couple of weeks, hey presto beer.

Yes, everything must be completely closed and airtight. This is to prevent any wild yeast or bacteria from entering the beer and spoiling it. Can't waste till it is time to bottle and check whether everything is okay!

So how's it looking so far? Or do you have to keep everything closed until the time?

You actually did it!!! I'll ah... be seeing you in a few weeks time then... to give my critique, of course... but I must warn you it takes a little while for my taste buds to come in check, but I think you might just have made enough for that to happen. LOL
