No, it’s not about bungee jumping in Belgium. I was wondering how many of you remembered a browser called Netscape? When I first started using the Internet, it was the browser of choice for everyone. I mean, Internet Explorer (3) was crap, pure and useless crap. Netscape had no problems with layouts, surfing was relatively fast and the interface was great. Then came Internet Explorer 4. Is was no biggie, but at least you could surf the net with it. Finally came the butcher, Internet Explorer 5 and worse for Netscape, it came along with Windows 98 (SE). Netscape stood no chance after that. People were just too lazy to download the latest version of Netscape and just used Internet Explorer that came with their Windows. Netscape browser was gone. Bye bye. It quicky went out of people’s memories.

So what happened to Netscape? Well now, it is a social networking site! Just like Digg, but unlike Digg, it is not that popular and is smaller in scale. Once the powerful browser developer, they have fallen to the depths of hell and is now “dancing” with the Devil. So I give all of you this warning – never mess with Microsoft. You will regret messing with this giant, they will pound you continuously and mercilessly till you drop dead or become a social network/porn site. Not even AOL or the entire porn industry can help you. That goes the same for you Firefox developers. They have you in their sights and hiding behind Google is of no use. Wuhahahaha! Zip it! Zip it!
