No, it’s not about bungee jumping in Belgium. It’s actually an article written by Peter le Roux (brother of Paul le Roux) on the city of Brugge in Belgium and I have posted it on my business directory. If you are interested in travelling and perhaps you are planning a trip to Belgium, you should really make a little stopover at this beautiful medieval looking city. No, you should have a look at Peter’s article and then you should really visit Brugge! And wow, it really looks like Venice with it’s little waterways and canals. This city looks very attractive and has the charms of an ancient medieval city. I wonder how does it feel to be living in a city like this? Do you get up in the morning feeling like wearing a plate mail and helmet and going out to rescue ladies in distress? Or do you feel like launching a few balls of fire with your catapult at the barbarian hordes? Anyway, if I have the money, I think I will retire here and spend my entire day exploring the city.

Oh by the way here are some facts for you, this city is the capital of the province of West-Flanders and is about 60 miles from Brussels, the capital of Belgium and has a population of 45,000. And this paragraph has too many “and”s in it.

I was wondering how many of you remembered a browser called Netscape? When I first started using the Internet, it was the browser of choice for everyone. I mean, Internet Explorer (3) was crap, pure and useless crap. Netscape had no problems with layouts, surfing was relatively fast and the interface was great. Then came Internet Explorer 4. Is was no biggie, but at least you could surf the net with it. Finally came the butcher, Internet Explorer 5 and worse for Netscape, it came along with Windows 98 (SE). Netscape stood no chance after that. People were just too lazy to download the latest version of Netscape and just used Internet Explorer that came with their Windows. Netscape browser was gone. Bye bye. It quicky went out of people’s memories.

So what happened to Netscape? Well now, it is a social networking site! Just like Digg, but unlike Digg, it is not that popular and is smaller in scale. Once the powerful browser developer, they have fallen to the depths of hell and is now “dancing” with the Devil. So I give all of you this warning – never mess with Microsoft. You will regret messing with this giant, they will pound you continuously and mercilessly till you drop dead or become a social network/porn site. Not even AOL or the entire porn industry can help you. That goes the same for you Firefox developers. They have you in their sights and hiding behind Google is of no use. Wuhahahaha! Zip it! Zip it!
