I am sure that a lot of people don’t know that there is an SEO benefit in having good quality outgoing links from your site. Although it is rather hard to proof it, but I believe that outgoing links can be very useful for Search Engines to understand what your site (or page) is all about. And it acts like a neighbourhood/community thing. I believe that good outbound links act as a source of information for your visitors, thus the importance of outbound links should not be forgotten.

Of course, this means that you should make sure the page you are linking to is useful to your viewers and the information related to your page.
