It’s on Index-it.net. Although design wise, there is nothing to shout about, but this directory is looking better and better once you go deep into it. It has some brilliant features to boot.

Won’t be long now, I will complete this review.

Ok, here is another blog post boasting about the number of listings done on Autho-Rity.

Well, I have done a total of 146 listings. But somehow, Google doesn’t seem to come as often to index the Autho-Rity directory. I guess the frontpage needs more constant updates eh?

I have started a simple project. The idea is to find out how often does Google updates their cache of a site.

I have listed down all my sites and the dates which the cache is updated (main page only). Maybe we can see a pattern from this and optimize further.

Yes, we now have 118 listings on Autho-rity.com!  All descriptions done by yours truly. Thinking up of words and phrases is not easy, especially for so many sites. And I certainly need to brush up my English.

I hope there isn’t a lot of spelling mistakes.

Yes, I was banned from SEO Chat forums for posting in my directory reviews. I think they call it “link dropping”. Wow, nice term. It means that you are dropping links (very likely URLs to your own site) in your post and they don’t like it.

It is ironic that the admin who deleted my post and banned me didn’t realize that I still have several threads on other reviews on the same forum. Not doing his job well, I suppose. And worse, I feel very unwelcome. Wuhahaha, but what the heck…….it’s their forum. I mean, it’s not like the link to the reviews are not useful or are to spam sites. They could be useful to some of their readers. I guess it is okay if they are the ones doing the “link drop” themselves.

How many of you have been banned from forums? This is my first time. I think I am going to get myself a badge for this proud moment in my life.
