Yes, I was banned from SEO Chat forums for posting in my directory reviews. I think they call it “link dropping”. Wow, nice term. It means that you are dropping links (very likely URLs to your own site) in your post and they don’t like it.

It is ironic that the admin who deleted my post and banned me didn’t realize that I still have several threads on other reviews on the same forum. Not doing his job well, I suppose. And worse, I feel very unwelcome. Wuhahaha, but what the heck…….it’s their forum. I mean, it’s not like the link to the reviews are not useful or are to spam sites. They could be useful to some of their readers. I guess it is okay if they are the ones doing the “link drop” themselves.

How many of you have been banned from forums? This is my first time. I think I am going to get myself a badge for this proud moment in my life.
